From January 15 to 16, 2009, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei visited the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR). The purpose of his visit is to inspect the work of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region. During his stay in Macao, He met with Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region Edmund Ho Hau-wah. He thanked the SAR Government for its strong support to the work of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Office of the Commissioner and exchanged views on enhancing communication with the SAR Government and increasing the SAR’s exchanges and cooperation with other countries and regions.
