From January 13 to 15, 2009, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei visited the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The purpose of his visit is to inspect the work of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. During his stay in Hong Kong, He met with Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Donald Tsang Yam-kuen, Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong SAR Henry Tang Ying-yen and other key officials. He thanked the Hong Kong SAR Government for its strong support to the work of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Office of the Commissioner and exchanged views on enhancing communication and cooperation with the SAR Government and supporting the SAR to expand foreign exchanges and cooperation.
